Street Gourmet Foods & Gifts has been in business for more than a dozen
years, but its heritage dates back to the early 20th Century. That’s when
Granny Greer immigrated to the United States from Sweden. Granny, along with her
4 children, brought a love of cooking and traditional recipes that has been
passed down through the years. Her daughter, and granddaughter raised another
generation that nurtured granny’s culinary skills, and today Treva and Dondra,
carry on that tradition.
Treva inherited her grandmother’s love of good cooking, especially her ability
to create dips, sauces and mixes to enhance the eating experience. In 1995 she
took those talents and began selling them, first locally, then regionally, and
finally nationally.
Today Main Street Gourmet Foods & Gifts, under Dondra’s guidance, markets
these products through gift shops, trade shows and direct mail around the
country and throughout the world.
Through all these years "quality" is the heritage that has remained
unchanged. It is symbolized by the theme, "SIMPLY - THE BEST". |
